There is no way you’re not already a fan of hummous! And if you’re not then this recipe will 100% convert you and hummous will be your religion – you’ll defo thank us later! Right let’s stop talking about how amazing it actually is and let’s get cooking.
Ingredients
1 red pepper
1 garlic clove
225g chickpeas
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp squeezed lemon juice
2 tbsp water
Spices: 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon chilli powder.
Method
Start by grilling your red pepper.
In a food processor mix together the garlic clove, chickpeas, olive oil, the lemon juice, tahini and water to thin out.
Give it a good blend and add all the spices and the grilled red pepper and give it a last good mix.
Your hummous is ready to be enjoyed with literally everything you love! Of course we had it with our special FittyFries 😉.
