You guys! We were looking for a new veggie burger/patty recipe and the recipe from Live green with Sarah couldn’t have come at a better time!
These patties are not only SO TASTY but they are also contain so many health benefits and are just so easy to make. A great idea to meal prep them as well!
Ingredients
For 8 patties:
100g cooked lentils (50g before boil)
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp olive oil
1 handful of parsley
1 tbsp wholewheat flour or oat flour
Pepper and paprika
Method
Pre-heat your oven to 180°.
Start by cooking your lentils in boiling water for 25 mins until fluffy.
Cut your onion and garlic clove and cook them in a pan with olive oil.
Once all above are ready get your blender and mix the lentils, the cooked onion and garlic and all other ingredients!
Mix everything well together and once you have a thick mixture start forming your patties. What we love about these patties is that they have the same texture from meat but are so far from it health wise 😉.
Put them in the oven for 25 mins at 180•. 😋
We enjoyed ours with quinoa salad ,fresh tomatoes and cucumber and a delicious tatziki sauce.
