You heard us right! Healthy and Waffles are in the same sentence! We made it possible and took on the challenge of turning the unhealthy into healthy!

We are sharing with you our Belgian delicacy treat and taking the challenge of transforming the famous Belgian waffle into a healthy recipe.

Need more convincing? One waffle is only 160 calories as opposed to 295 for a classic Belgian waffle! Right we know you’re convinced now so let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

200g oats

180g all purpose flour

250ml almond milk

1 baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

1 natural 0% yoghurt

1 egg

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

30g of grounded stevia

Method:

Put the flour and oats in a bowl, create a hole in it and add in the egg, mix it well and add the milk, the salt, the vanilla extract and the yoghurt. Mix everything and add the baking powder to mix one last time! Heat up your gaufrier and enjoy your Belgian delicacy.
